The official release of Benedetto Vinaccesi: the Solo Cantatas (Centaur CRC 3270) is not until April 1, 2013.  BUT....the first batch of CDs have shipped to the Ensemble and should arrive in the next week or so!

Just a quick note: the master for our first CD, Benedetto Vinaccesi: the Solo Cantatas, is in the hands of the CD company!  Stay tuned for the release date....

Our third Berkeley Fringe! We want to thank all the wonderful audience members who came to hear us at Trinity Chapel on June 6!

The CD master is in the final mixing stage, we have the photo rights for a picture of one of the pages of the Vinaccesi manuscripts in the program notes, and the notes are good to go.  More soon about a release date...

The Ensemble recorded Vinaccesi's 8 extant solo cantatas in a series of intense sessions in November.  The session "tapes" have now been in the hands of the engineer/ producer since December for editing and mastering.  More news soon!

The Vinaccesi Ensemble is pleased and excited to announce that we have received a grant from the

San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music Musical Grant Program

for us to record the solo cantatas of Benedetto Vinaccesi.

Sessions are scheduled for Fall 2011.
